Maavaru Manta Block

Located about 40 minutes by boat from Bodufulhudhoo, Maavaru Manta Block is a renowned cleaning station where reef mantas gather, offering divers and snorkelers exceptional opportunities for close encounters. Eagle rays are frequent visitors, dolphins occasionally pass by, and the reef itself is alive with angelfish, butterflyfish, triggerfish, and countless smaller species. The prime season for manta sightings runs from December to April. With depths ranging between 10 and 20 meters, the site is accessible to divers of all levels and is equally ideal for freedivers and snorkelers, who can enjoy crystal‑clear views of mantas gliding gracefully overhead.
