Lagoon Dive Club is a professional PADI dive center located on the island of Bodufolhudhoo in North Ari Atoll, Maldives. Situated near the arrival jetty of Lagoon View Maldives, the dive center provides convenient access to some of the region’s most spectacular dive sites and vibrant house reefs.
The dive center offers a full range of diving experiences, from beginner programs such as Discover Scuba Diving to advanced certifications including Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster courses. Experienced PADI instructors guide divers through daily dive trips, usually with two morning dives and additional afternoon or special dives depending on conditions and diver experience.
Facilities at the dive center include a classroom for training, shower and changing facilities, equipment rental, lockers, and a dive shop. Divers can explore over 35 nearby dive sites, including thilas, channels, and vibrant reefs famous for rich marine life such as reef sharks, manta rays, and schools of tropical fish.
With professional instructors, modern facilities, and access to world-class diving in North Ari Atoll, Lagoon Dive Club offers an exciting and safe underwater adventure for both beginners and experienced divers.
Our Opening hours are from 8am – 6pm and our daily diving trips are scheduled according to weather, diver level and experience. Usually, we conduct two dives (boat trips) in the mornings and ‘single dive’ trips in the afternoons, with ‘full day, three or four dive’ trips scheduled by arrangement.
Our experienced multi-lingual instructors provide a professional and friendly service. The Team is made up of 2 or 3 instructors, depending on high or low season, 1 compressor boy and 2 boat crew / Capt. Our knowledgeable diving staff is complemented by our visiting marine biologist, who conducts our marine and conservation lectures as well as snorkeling excursions.
Equipment is available for daily hire from the diving center, for both diving and snorkeling.
Our dive centre team will help you to check-in and give you information about the dive sites, diving schedule, diving safety rules and prices. For check-in, you are kindly requested to bring your diving certification, logbook and your medical certificate if you have one.
Inside the diving center you can find a small classroom and information corner, a space dedicated to fish identification and small shop display, where we also offer a range of books and other related items for purchase.
All rental diving equipment is from the Scuba Pro brand and we can provide full diving kits including BCD’s, Regulators, Fins, Masks, Wet Suits, Diving Computers and Underwater Torches (for night dives). We also offer a short term dedicated dive insurance policy from DAN.
Our diving boat (traditional Maldivian dhoni) is equipped with a sundeck for your enjoyment and for your safety, a radio, mobile phone and life jackets are provided. Our dhoni crew will offer you hot and cold refreshments during navigation and between the dives, including fresh water, tea, cookies and fruits.
Full day excursions provide breakfast and lunch on board. Night dives can also be organized by arrangement.
